FAQ

1 / Are you really a veteran?

Absolutely. I served in the United States Navy Submarine Service. Long story. A lot of the stuff I can't tell you, but the stuff I can, ask me about over coffee or a podcast, or both.

2 / What's with all the underwear jokes?

The last name Breedwell comes with a bunch of jokes. There is an underwear company for men that uses my last name as its brand. Nothing I do will ever be affiliated with that brand, although I wish them the best.

3 / Are your stories for kids?

It depends on the parents. If they are okay with sarcasm, foul language, aliens, existential chaos, and some adult humor and situations, then sure. Officially, my books are geared toward older teens and adults.

4 / Do your stories connect together?

They all share a connected "Breedwell-Verse," based around the fictional town of Hollywood, Indiana. The characters and stories interact with each other from time to time, providing for some fun cameos.

5 / What genres do you write in?

For me, it's less about the genre and more about the story. I've written stories in sci-fi, fantasy, professional wrestling, non-fiction (specifically theological studies), and even screenplays.

6 / How can I book you for speaking or interviews?

The best way to do it is to use my Contact Form found here. You may also contact me on any of my socials below.

7 / What's the best book of yours to start with?

It depends. Chronologically, And the NEW takes place five years before Just Put the VHS in the Bag, Bro. It depends on your interest though. Either one of those two books will start you right.

8 / Do you collaborate with other writers or artists?

All the time! I love collaborating with people, whether it's short story collections, podcasts, joint blog posts, or whatever. Just not an underwear ad. No one wants to see that.

9 / Can I hire you for editing or writing help?

You sure can. Check out my Services page. I even give a free 60-minute consultation just to see if we'd vibe.

10 / Where can I find updates about your work?

You can find them on my socials (below), my free Substack, and even the Blog page. For the latest news, subscribe to the newsletter, and for access to early release things, subscribe to the premium tier on Substack.
